umm...Hi, I'm not exactly the most active member in the celestia community, but ive had alot of time on my hands lately, and decided to make a small system in celestia...This is my first real system that i've made, so I'd appreciate some feedback on it...

It's available for download here http://darkbolt.sfexplore.com/angellic_domain.exe , its about 25mb, and due to my hastily putting it together i had to make a quick patch for it which you can download here
http://darkbolt.sfexplore.com/angellicpatch1-0-1.zip

and the readme file for those that want is here http://darkbolt.sfexplore.com/README.txt

Like I said, its my first system I made, so I'd like some feedback, but be nice!!

heres a couple sneak peeks...In all theres 10 planets, and one moon (meaning one planet has a moon....well 2, but the Sarethon and magnock are double planets, or were intended to be...), some of it you'll probably think is crap...but i bet theres a couple planets in it you'll like...

It'd be nice if your home page worked :(

I get an error message:

Code: Select all

Parse error: parse error in /home/sites/site14/users/darkbolt/web/index.php on line 21

I was trying to add a link to it on my Celestia page. Having one link to a site is easier than one to every add-on.

Another consideration: personally I prefer non-executable zip files instead of programs that have to be run. I'm somewhat paranoid and would rather copy non-runnable objects. I'm sure your program is OK and is smaller than a zip file would be, but there's always the worry that an unknown program might do something inappropriate.

The pictures you've posted do look enticing, though!

Yeah, I been meaning to fix that, its not exactly related to celestia anyway, I'll throw up a download page to it tonight :)

As for it being a self extracting zip, I just used winrar to turn it into one, so its just a zip file basically that does the work for you, nothing special ;)

brunetto-I dont know why the download wouldnt start for you, maybe the server was down at the time (though I doubt that...its a rather reliable server), I hope it works for you soon...

I'll throw up a quick page listing the download today :)

Heres a quick page I threw up for it...I'll make another one soon enough, to show off all my artwork (I tend to do alot of work in photoshop...this is just my first real time doing something for celestia :) )

I thought DBs planets looked great and went along with his story well. (do they get to see the story?)
