Cloud Map Generator

Does anyone know of a really good cloud map generator? I mean the kind where you can input the amount of cloud coverage and possibly manipulate the appearance? I had LunarCell, but I was never completly happy with the look. AstroSynth's clouds look, well, less than bad. I haven't really found any satellite sources that look good, either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One way to create fractal clouds is to use a fractal planet generator, with the oceans black and the land masses white.

Actually, I think he's looking for something that will generate realistic cloud patterns, based on weather patterns, trade winds, etc.
The only tolerable source of clouds is
http://xplanet.sourceforge.net/clouds.php , but I think the OP is already aware of this link, so if so, feel free to disregard.
As for myself, I am not aware of anything that will generate realistic fictitious cloud maps.

I hadn't really considered a fractal generator, aside from what's in GIMP. I'll have to try it (and the other suggestions as well.) Thanks for all your help!

Maybe Wilbur as well...
Colors as grayscale (editable in "shader setup" > "Altitude" > "Color list") and with the sea level/color with a suited color to be removed like alpha transparency...

I looked at Fragmentarium...is it a command line type renderer? While the results of such things are very nice, I prefer to see what I'm doing while I'm working on it. (If that makes any sense to anyone, great.)
