Maybe this is old news, but I've found a Normal Map generator for the Mac here :

I'm now able to add normalmap textures on CMOD models (finally !)
Here's my Europa interior model as an example (which is now a layer, cutting out a piece from Europa !) :

FYI there is also another normal generator on osX called NormalMappr. I haven't use them before but I think both app are quite similar...

Just curious . . . what technique are you using to apply the normal map to the cmod? Are you hand editing the ASCII cmod file?
