I'm a little new to all this but, is it possible to create a star in celestia?
Based on the debated theory of Nibiru/PlanetX I'm wanting to create a brown dwarf that orbits our sun in an elliptical manner. I have found one addon that made a pretty good attempt at this, but flawed none the less. Orbit aside, can i replace the planet with a small star? If not i guess i'll just have to play around with different textures.

Stars are defined in STC catalog files.

They can be defined to orbit around other Stars just as planets are defined in SSC files.

Examples are in Celestia's /data/nearstars.stc
