Have a look at this.

I edited Friders bumpmaped cloud texture and added a Huricane. It even has an eye. You can see a larger version in my gallery

By the way. I didn't just cut and past in a picture of a Huricane. I used Photoshop 7 to create this puppy right inside the .png.

Thats a nice shot...Looks real...

Now with cloud shadows and weather conditions that could be that much better

Someone on this board turned me on to drop shadow in the layer properties in Photoshop...Right click on a layer choose Blending Options I believe...check drop shadow...but remember to offset and wipe clean that crease...

Celestia will support real cloud shadows sooner than you think . . .
