I guess you can paint a greyscale and load it into the composer in GIMP and compile a PNG to show up in Celestia yes...
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!

bah you explained on icq what todo...Ok, does anyone have any idea how I could make the surface of earth (just the land) kind of metallic??

That could be done with speculars...
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!
