Hi,
The next 2 pis show a scaling problem I'm having. The new texture is 256 pixels / degree. Thats 2 degrees per 512 tile. Celestia uses 2.8 or 1.4 degrees per tile for levels 5 and 6 or something like that. When I scaled the quad down the craters still came out smaller. Any suggestions?

The next series shows the approach to the Fan feature just north of holden crater.
Comments or suggestions? Does anyone knows of some techniques to blend the mosaics and noise lines that I could use with the gimp? There are a lot of them.
