Southern England for BlueMarble32k DDS?

Hi,

I lost my complete Celestia installation a few days ago and could manage to download/install almost everything except the 64k vt for Earth. Because of my comprehensive 32k Bluemarble I would like to know if it is possible to adapt the beautiful 64k Southern England for the 32k BlueMarble? If so I could improve the 32k Bluemarble instead of trying to download the 64k.

Hi Dora, you could do I expect, but it would be quite a bit of work, you will have to change the hue of the oceans, from blue to green,on each tile.It should be possible soon to download my JPG version of 64k Marble from a quick site, will let you know when it is,all the best Jestr

Hi Jestr,

thanks a lot for your reply! :) For I am not an expert in creating/editing textures I am going to wait for a fast server. It would be really great to have all the 32k addons (Hawaii, USA cities, Canada, Patagonia, Egypt, Middle East, Bagdad, Italy, Cyprus, Corsika, Austria, Turkey, Mexico, France et cetera) for your beautiful 64k vt.

I am afraid, I am not up to date... Are there 64k normal maps and spec maps for your 64k vt?

I have 32k Normal,Night, and Specular maps to go with my 64kMarble texture,at the moment they are only available on my FTP
ftp://81.108.220.185
But as I said above they should be available soon on a faster server, though not the PNG version,I will have a go at getting all of the VT's looking the same but there is a lot of variation here, some of the VT's are not true colour so it will be tricky with these,Jestr

... I am really looking forward to your 64 k vt's. :) I had already downloaded your beautiful jpeg version, but unfortunately I lost both the installation and () the backup! I really miss your 64k, especially this awesome Southern UK! So it's good news, that there will be a fast server soon! :D
