What is the maximum resolution of the planet texture can be use in celestia for geforec4MX440??
Can it support virtual texture?
can i use 4096x4096texture?

My old GeForce 2MX100 could manage up to 8k textures. But I had to be very patient when I displayed these textures :lol:

Use instead virtual textures, it'll unload your gpu. You can use them without any kind of problem.

Planet textures are tiled internally, so big sizes will work - but things become slow with 4mx440 from 8k upward.

Deep sky objects are supported to the limit of the texure buffer, wich should be 2k for 4mx440.
