venus textures no clouds visible?

hi!

i have downloaded the textures (png) from johnscelestiapage...
but i can?t see the clouds...
the solassys.ssc is updated.
i see only the surface texture

what makes the normal map?

Hello noname,

Referring to your Venus clouds, the first thing to ask is;

When viewing Venus, have you used the "I" key to toggle cloud textures on and off ?

Secondly, have you installed the texture in the correct place, ie the textures / medres folder ?

It would also be easier for us to help you, if you could post your new ssc to see if it is correct.

glad you like them . the B&W venus is the new one.The colered map is the very old 8k-vencyl.bmp image from views of the solar sys . page
