Your webpage looks good, it needs a little more contrast though.

You might aware of it but.
The thumbnails of the mercury textures need to be converted, they are probably killing your upwidth. They are 1024x512 and about 1meg each! (straight from celestia i suspect)

You could convert them to a 256x128 jpeg at about 30% quality and they would still look the same, and only be about 10k.

Other than that good stuff.
