LunarLambert values

Post #1by scalbers » 29.03.2009, 20:56

I was pleased to learn that version 1.5.0 has the LunarLambert parameter implemented for the moon in the default version. This constant varies between zero and one. I'm wondering what values might be good for other planets and satellites. For example, Mercury being fairly moonlike might also have a value of 1.0. What would be good values for icy satellites, or other low-albedo satellites from the outer solar system? Hopefully some additional values can be set for version 1.6?

Thanks,

Steve

I put it on everything but the planets (save Mercury). Makes them look more like spacecraft images of them.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
