Hello Rex,
Are you aware there is some database you can translate to have Celestia completely translated (not only the GUI)...
You should have a look at http://celestia.teyssier.org/i18n/ and contact Christophe Tessier if you want to create a Chinese .po file (translation file).
Bye.

Thanks, but I can't do it now.
Actually, I have never used an operation system except Windows and DOS. And I have no experience in C++. I'm using .Net.
I may try to install a Linux and write a Hello World in C++ in several months when I go to university.
I can start to do something 1 day after I have to use Pascal.
But C++ is something different. I cannot even encourage myself to compile the Celestia, because compiling txfuntil cost me many Sundays.
Visual Studio made me more lazy.
This version include the translation of The Nine Planet Tours, which was the best thing I could find on CelestiaMotherlode one year ago.
In China, many people give up Celestia after a few minutes because it is hard to control. So a integrated script package is needed.
Thanks all the same. By the way, will there anybody could tell Chris to add something for the stars and the features, so that we can write something like "Sol/Sun".

Rex, you don't need anything to translate Celestia in Chinese, just download the .po files and edit it via a text editor; actually a Japanese translation has been completed, so I suppose there will beno problem with Chinese...

Windows experts correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that while hud messages do use the .po translations,
text for menus and dialog boxes don't and require language-specific resource files (at least on Windows and OS X)?
