Some ideas for our great developers

Hi friends,
if i played around with celestia, i got some ideas for tools:
first:
a stars.dat explorer/-editor
i think about an external tool to edit the stars.dat more comfortable.
it should have some features:
- a GUI
- the possibility to search a star by it?s assigned numbers/name
- translate the binary code to real parameters
- the possibility to view/edit this parameters like distance; RA/DEC; spectralclass; app. and/or abs. magnitudes; etc.
- add stars manualy from other sources
- and then write it back to stars.dat
and second:
a random open/globular cluster generator
this means a tool for creating clusters.
possible features:
- select the range of spectralglasses, thats been used
(example: use only stars from M to G to create and old cluster)
- specify the coordinates of the center for the cluster
- specify the distance of the center from SOL
- specify the max. distance of stars from the center
- specify the max. and min. Magitude used for the stars
- specify the count of stars in the cluster
- specify the density of the cluster (possible useless because the summary of distance and count)
- and than put it into a .stc file
Because i?m a very bad developer, now i hope there?s someone out, who can create such a tool
I hope, my english isn?t to bad, so that you can understand, what i mean
