B magnitudes

Does the Hipparcos catalogue include B magnitudes as well as V?
It may be useful to store B magnitudes as well as V magnitudes in the database, which could then be related to parameters such as temperature (hence colour) and bolometric magnitudes by formulae such as these, without having to store the values in lookup tables as is currently done.
Or would this use result in too much derived "information" for the standard distribution of Celestia?
