Spacecraft Engine Glow

I found a model of the Daedalus from Stargate and was wondering:
Is it possible to have an "Engine Glow" in Celestia?, Like how the comets have a tail except its a ball and its attached to a Spacecrafts engine.

And while im on the topic of "glow", Is it also possible to have an Interior glow to shine through the windows?

---
If anyone would like the model of the Daedalus just say and I will post a link to the site.

Hi Stew, the only way I know to do this is by surrounding the model with an invisible box or sphere, then split the model into two files, one which has all the non glowing parts and the invisible box.The other file is all the glowing bits and the invisible box. Then you have two ssc definitions pointing to the two different files identical except the glowing file has the line
Emissive true in it.An example of this is my Excelsior model here

Although the model files are cmod they follow the above rules.Jestr

Your Ship glows really well! 8O .
Do you have a screenshot of what the Invisible box model looks like in the 3d model software?

OK,here's a screenshot in 3DS Max.The invisible object can be any shape you want (a box is just a small number of polygons to add to the file size). The important thing about it is that it should enclose the entire model-then when you use two ssc definitions the radius can stay the same for both models and the two model files fit well together.

I don't think a plastic model of the Daedalus has been made yet.
Comet Minatures have a collection of models in kit form.

thats all that i seen to, ya i love the al'kesh too i think i will try my little project with it, i think there is just enough room

the alkesh in the show is 67m long, 31m wide, and 14m high, so that kind of give's the relitive size of the model
