I think a cool feature would be to be able to display the habitable zone for any given star you're close to. Obviously the habitable zone is a spherical volume around a star, but I was thinking something simpler like the cross-section of a torus in the orbital plane of the star. Semi-transparent would be cool.

My system generator takes into account this habitable zone and goes as far as calculating the composition of atmospheres.
