no galaxy-rendering in current CVS

hi again,

my current cvs-win-build does not render galaxys correctly.
in fact it renders only the small "spherical" ones like SMC or LMC and they are very faint.

v1.3.2 shows them properly

i even tried the cvs-build on the 1.3.2 data and models but nothing changed. switching ctrl+v doesn't work either...

any suggestions?

The rendering menu has not yet been updated in the current CVS build. You have to use keyboard shortcuts to separately enable Nebula and Galaxy rendering. My notes aren't available right now, so I'll have to refer you to the source code to find out what they are.

strange, the menu works fine with me and if the key assignments are unchanged 'u' would be for galaxy-rendering and 'e' for galaxy-labeling...

both work but only the smaller galaxys are visible (very faint) and e.g. milky way is not drawn at all.

*edit* found it myself :D

the key is fridgers http://www.celestiaproject.net/~t00fri/images/STemplates.zip unzipped to the celestia-root-dir et. voila ;)
