Big glaring error staring everyone in the face....

.... yet no-one seems interested ! Maybe by posting it as a new topic, I will get an answer !
As I've said several times, along with several other people, the light from nearby stars does not, in reality, make far-away stars more visible, as it does in Celestia. Celestia's realism would be severely improved if this could be corrected ! Or is it too difficult for some obscure programming reason ?

This was discussed in some detail in an earlier topic In Celestia the galaxiy are more visible at daylight????
