WE DID IT!
Germany is in the world soccer championship final!!!
Brazil or Turkey (we have lot's and lot's of the latter here!) will be very cool. Brazil for the game and Turkey afterwards
I just hope you enjoy it is as much as I did,
Axel

I hate football... I hate seeing players simulating...
It's no more sports but only money and medias...
So bad because the game itself is cool

You sucked, Korea should have been there :O)
Brazil already beat Germany once this week (lo Schumacher)
Anyway, to make this thread topical, gosh aren't stars pretty?

Yes. The World Cup is in Japan. Which has many astronomers. Like Hyatutake. And Ikeya. Oh hell, back to the football!

Juji Hayakutake, unfortunately died on April 10th this year, at age 51, from internal bleeding caused by an aneurism of the aorta.

Oh my god, yet another football maniac ;)
Come on, go outside, honk in your car, and wave the german flag around ... and stop spamming about soccer in the developers forum ;-)

Glad you've made it to the final. Anyway, you're lucky that damn referee sent us home otherwise Spain would have beaten you
Mmm, i wonder if you could see the so-called red tide in a extreme Celestia zoom-in, he, he, he. Time for a World-Cup texture pack?

Being god = fun

Axel... hmmmm what do you mean with " and turkey afterwards " ....
does not sound the way it should, in particular in a forum of this kind, and, by the way, don't you all think that soccer is just 22+ people that in most cases just about know how to read and write and, as a reward for their enormous intelligence, get paid what probably most people on this forum would see in 500 yrs of their normal salary ?
I do not know in your country... in mine, this "market meritocracy" is starting to be a serious social danger.

p.s. make love not soccer
and turkey afterwards...

Hi,
gianguest wrote:Axel... hmmmm what do you mean with " and turkey afterwards " ....
The turkish fans (we have lot's and lot's of them here) really can party. They do so right in the center of Munich, which is fun, even though though the traffic just passes out
There even was a tiny group of Brazillians who did a tiny carnival in a small road for an entire day. Funny
Let's hope we'll be the ones to do so Sunday, not them.
gianguest wrote:does not sound the way it should, in particular in a forum of this kind,
Could you explain that to me?

True. If you don't like it just ignore the thread. Besides noone in a market is paid just for intelligence, but for a specific marketvalue. Like it or not.

Uhmmm,
we're short in supply on asteroids for demi-gods in the moment...
So if you had to choose, which one would you target ? Germany or Brazil, eh?
How's the summer down in Brighton?
Take care, Axel
in next life I will play soccer and avoid math

just wanted to know.... in europe there are lot's of funny little racists around, I am really happy to hear you did not mean it that way....
I apologize for the misunderstanding
like it or not
hmmm ... not
(which means that not taking a position is actualy equivalent to taking one...)
in next life I will play soccer and avoid math.... this is the message that this "like it or not" seems to give to people... so it is better to NOT like it... don't you agree?

Hi pal,
Raul. wrote:Glad you've made it to the final. Anyway, you're lucky that damn referee sent us home otherwise Spain would have beaten you
We spend weeks and weeks to train him. That simply had to work
Raul. wrote:Mmm, i wonder if you could see the so-called red tide in a extreme Celestia zoom-in, he, he, he. Time for a World-Cup texture pack?
You'd prefer the 'entire planet as a football' theme, wouldn't you? Funny thing right now is I'm getting beaten for beeing a football fan
Take care and wish us well. I'm having a spare asteroid in store, just in case
Buenas dias,
Axel
PS.: Still happy with the new sledge?
in next life I will play soccer and avoid math

Well, there are people for math and there are people for soccer. You can't make a Newton out of a Pele (and vice versa LOL) in his next life. So forget about the money and be happy about your path
Some people even like booth.
Btw.: As much as I think money isn't the prime scale to measure people, intelligence in the late 19th century's definition isn't so either.
Tace care,
Axel

LOL, isn't it ironic? This must be the first time you post something on football, ha, ha, ha.
Anyway, i can't understand why people bash football only because of the money the players earn. Basketball, baseball or "the other football where they barely use the feet" players earn a lot more than football players and nobody seems to remember. It's economics 101, they earn that much cos there's people willing to pay it, and those people gonna make much more money out of the players, and so the TV, and so on. I don't like it but that's the way capitalism works.
Reg. math vs football, i guess everyone chooses his/her path. I love playing football but unfortunately i'm not skilled enough to make a living out of it, in fact i never thought about doing it so. Well, maybe i'm skilled enough to play in the US team
... just kidding.

He, he, this thing rocks. I'm installing cool 17" rims this week.

you're right. Sorry for that. Sometimes I forget to fill in my name and it recognises that it's another one's. But not this time. Misspelled?
Take care,

Hi,
but to go off-topic again
...
I'm not sure the strongest defensive team can make it against the strongest offensive team in the final, if you know what I'm talking about.
On the other hand, the german trainer said: "The best team not always wins. If so, the brazillians would have been world champion 14 times, not 4."
Wise guy, eh?
Take care,
Axel
