Xa2,

If you are a Linux user with KDE as desktop manager, this thread will help you: http://www.shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2543&highlight=tran
Here is the Celestia KDE translation page: http://celestia.teyssier.org/celestia/i18n/

On the other hand, Celestia doesn't support multilanguage for Windows. Perhaps you can edit the file celestia/res/celestia.rc (it's in the program sources), replace the English strings with Euskera ones and then recompile. But it won't be easy to distribute. You'll have to change planet and moon names in the ssc files, too. As you see, it's not very practical.

Hope this helps :)

Well, I was the first to offer to translate to Basque, but unfortunately I'm not fluent in that language. So, I asked the help of some friends, one of them actually teacher of euskera, but they choked a little when they saw the astronomical and technical jargon, and I'm not going to submit a partial (and possibly incorrect) translation.

I hope you are luckier than me.
Toti is correct in that the only easily translatable version is the Linux one. But if you are in the mood, just grab the file, edit the file (with a text editor), and place the translation between the double quotes at the msgtr "" beneath the original english message.
Or, if you prefer, translate the Windows version (but you will only be able to distribute it as binary, not easily updatable).

Agur eta zorte on!

Xa2 and Jamarsa,

These are two (of many) Basque astronomical organizations:

Here are some other links:

Perhaps you can ask them about the conflictive terminology. Surely they will be helpful.
