I've really enjoyed the relative ease that you're able to add planets to the systems. I've only done up two planets myself (with a third attempt at a gas giant, which I'm having difficulty doing up). Here are some shots:

Gensai
Alkari

What do you guys think?

Those are some great looking planets . . . You should submit them to Bruckner's add-on repository: [url]http://bruckner.homelinux.net/addons.html

How did you create the planet textures?

Great work with those planets. I just have to download them when they get online.

The textures aren't mine, unfortunatly. I downloaded thet 18 Sco zip from the archives, and saw the great textures there, so I used them. Credit where credit is due. Everything else is mine, however. The drawing was done in PhotoShop.

Here are the full maps (Zip file pending):

Gensai
Alkari

BTW, what IS a good way to generate some good textures?

Not a problem with your computer, I'm guessing. The site is actually down right now for some reason or another.
