Ran: preview and request for help

Hello, everyone
I?m?getting close to release of my latest Add-On: Ran, the solar system i?ve had in the works for some time (see my website for more info and screenshots).
But, i have a problem to solve before i can publish. And again, it?s an XYZ trajectory challenge: i need to get a starship from A to B, and don?t have any idea what i?m doing.
However, this time, i have a partial solution... And only need help with the details:
I have built an Orion rocket, and by modifying the Galileo XYZ that comes with Celestia, i have managed to get the rocket into the solar system, brake at a gas giant, and then get it to rendezvouz with the target planet. The problem is, that i don?t know how to insert it into orbit around the planet.
As a workaround, i now have TWO ssc objects: one shows the spaceship entering the system and going to the planet, with another showing it in the desired orbit. I have managed to put the two just a kilometer apart. But i don?t want that: i want these two objects to be two phases of the same, not two different ones.
So, i?m hoping someone here would help me out: getting this right would make the Add-On a much more interesting release... Here?s a screenshot of the ship, the trajectory, with the SSC and XYZ attached below.

I?m?getting close to release of my latest Add-On: Ran, the solar system i?ve had in the works for some time (see my website for more info and screenshots).
But, i have a problem to solve before i can publish. And again, it?s an XYZ trajectory challenge: i need to get a starship from A to B, and don?t have any idea what i?m doing.
However, this time, i have a partial solution... And only need help with the details:
I have built an Orion rocket, and by modifying the Galileo XYZ that comes with Celestia, i have managed to get the rocket into the solar system, brake at a gas giant, and then get it to rendezvouz with the target planet. The problem is, that i don?t know how to insert it into orbit around the planet.
As a workaround, i now have TWO ssc objects: one shows the spaceship entering the system and going to the planet, with another showing it in the desired orbit. I have managed to put the two just a kilometer apart. But i don?t want that: i want these two objects to be two phases of the same, not two different ones.
So, i?m hoping someone here would help me out: getting this right would make the Add-On a much more interesting release... Here?s a screenshot of the ship, the trajectory, with the SSC and XYZ attached below.
