I need the help of a few good people who would be willing to help create a Farscape space map useing Celestia. If you dont know, Farscape is one of the best scifi tv shows ever!
We know this is a big project and need to know if any one is willing to help.

If you are interested email Adam at farscape@farscape-1.com or Josh at dargo@farscape-1.com

I bet you are american, unable to imagine that there are many countries on this globe where your "great show" has never been heard of...

Before you go on polluting the various departments here, why don't you give us a little reminder what you are talking about? Why does your site have a .com ending if you claim you are just "fans"?

Some of us here do not have enough time to hang in front of the tv too much;-)

Hey there toofri, thats a bit harsh.

Looking at the http://www.farscape-1.com site would seem to indicate that it is just a fan site. It contains no ads, just info on the show in question. Lots of non-comercial sites have .com addresses (as unfortunate as that is).

The show in question is Farscape which is a fairly popular sci-fi show currently run on the US Sci-fi network, and on the BBC.

Last I checked America wasn't a country.

I am sorry if I was too "direct" again;-).

Yet a US tv channel and british BBC represent --as I pointed out above -- only a fraction of the international (media) world.

I just find it bad style (and will react correspondingly), if the unreflected implication:

US = the whole world

"jumps at me" already in the first line...

The Celestia forum is a truly international site and hopefully stays this way.

I just find that spreading this certainly not very "highlevel" US media-fan stuff into /two/ of our forum-departments at once without a bit of explanation/justification, is a bit much. Just my very personal opinion...

Good for them, if their site is just a fan site and not commercial...

Neither is "Britain", but would you really prefer to say "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" every time you mention the UK?

Let's give scaper1 the benefit of the doubt & let him elaborate on what exactly he's got planned... About posting in two forums at the same time- the Celestia forum just isn't as "loose" as others, (Which is good IMO) where double posting would be considered fairly normal. It doesn't happen here that often anyway, I can only remember two or three other times before.

Of course! We spend that time playing with Celestia... :D
