Here is my all new web site, with my contributions to celestia.

http://membres.lycos.fr/tompouce00/

Now avariable NGC 7293, the Helix nebula

A taste of things to come :
-JPL's Horizons to XYZ file Converter
-Two-Line Element to SSC file Converter (for Earth satellites only of course)
-A wide liste of Earth's artificial satellite (thank to the project just above)

For those who are interrested, let me now what you expect those new stuff to be able to do. And do not hesitate to sign my gestbook to let me know what you think.

Astroboy--

Is this webpage still active? I'd like to give your converter tool a try if it's available.

Hello kaycea,
Neither astroboy nor his site have been heard from in a while. The closest thing I know to those are some of Grant's spreadsheet calculators. See here:

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the link to Grant's page--he has lots of good resources there.

I was not able to find a spreadsheet calculator that converts from JPL's Horizons data, so instead, let me pose this question:

Referring to Selden's e-mail template for getting Horizons' spacecraft data (http://www.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/horizons-template.txt), what needs to be done to the numbers in order to get them into a format Celestia uses?

There's probably a really quick answer to this question, but I've been wading through the forums...looking.
