Will the Millky Way and Andromitia Galixy Merger be seen in celestia?
This would be so cool, to see two galixys colide and combine.
Is this going to be posible?

There currently exists two public Galactic Incidents Simulators; being Alessandro Ghignola's StarWays and Adrian Lark's Gravity 3D.
Both of these simulators uses the gravity of the galactic core, and applies this gravity to every star in a galaxy, making for some truly spetecular galactic collisions and other incidents.
I belive StarWays is the most realistic and has most features of the two, while Gravity 3D has better graphics.
I also hope that it will one day be possible to use such Gravity-simulation technology with Celestia, which might be possible in the future.

There is Toomre&Toomre from Vincent Icke (a Leiden University astronomy professor). It's quite old, 2d, and Mac OS classic only, but the applied model is very realistic.
