Well, I don't know how accurate these are, or if they are even real, but I did some digging, and found a whole bunch of space craft 3ds models. All they need is to be fixed so the textures are read from c:/program files/celesita/medres/ and the .ssc files need to be made. :

Models & Texture maps

Hi BB884,

I downloaded some of the models from spaceislands, just to have a look see as to the textures. It looks like there were some textures missing in some of the zips.

As to the location, do the textures have to sit in the medres folder? I already have a problem where my Program Files folder is not sitting on C:, so some of the models already struggle with finding the paths.

What about /models/x38/x38.3ds;.jpg...
with the ssc file referencing x38/x38.3ds ?

I'll post back any models I manage to get complete.

Regards
D

i guess the textures would go in whatever directory the 3ds file would go into, im really not sure, but they wont work in celestia untill they are remapped to be read from the medres directory, in other words, they aren't doing that now. as for specific texture problems, you should go to the origional site and contact the maker of the model, i didnt make any of these, just found 'em. hope that helps!
