How or what kind of programs do you use for making nebulas, systems, etc. I wnat to be a programmer just like you

Well you will need a 3d modeling program that saves in 3ds format to make nebulas...To make textures you can use either adobe photoshop, paint shop pro or the gimp

The rest is a matter of scripting the ssc files using any text editor like notepad...

Practise practise practise
The one thing to remember when positioning stars is RA is in degrees so any RA variables that are in hours need to be converted to decimal...minutes divide by 60 seconds divide by 3600 add the two inc the hours...and multiply by 15
Dec just divide min by 60 sec by 3600 add together and add hours straight in...
Orbit parimeters check around the forum theres tons of help here...use the search option and use these sites...
