Pipcard, here you can find some Celestia's tools that add more information as you needs:
http://www.shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13162&st=0&sk=t&sd=aand here there is an enhancement of its relevant infoText for all SS objects.

How do you install that?

You must extract the zip archive in your Celestia folder, then you will see a new entry under ../celestia/extras/ called lua_edu_tools which has its subfolders. There are the instructions on how to add these tools to Celestia. You should add a line (with an editor) in celestia.cfg file.
For what concern the enhanced infoText.lua, simply backup the exant one and drop the new in its folder. This latter is a sub-folder of ../celestia/extra/lua_edu_tools called ../infos.

I don't trust the links. Two of them are 404 pages (one in French).

I have a question. Where do you add the LuaHook "luahookinit.lua" to the celestia.cfg file? And where do you place luahookinit.lua?
EDIT: Never mind
EDIT: Fenerit, how do you install "infoText.lua"?

In the ../infos subfolder of ..extras/lua_edu_tools/ folder. Backup the extant as infoText.lua.bak and then paste the new file infoText.lua in that folder.
