VC++ 2005/2008 & IE7 Dependency problem on dwmapi.dll in XP

There are many respective discussions in the net and I checked it with DependencyWalker.exe :
With VC++ 2005 / 2008 Express -- and with IE7 installed -- all the
built local applications have a missing DLL dependence on dwmapi.dll. It is a VISTA API not available on Windows XP!
We should eventually get this straight...

PS: I just downloaded dwmapi.dll from some place in the net. DependencyWalker is happy for now
. Of course, one can also deinstall IE7 ...
