A few glitches

Post #1by Rassilon » 10.11.2002, 07:01

I got a couple to report...one is a bug the other is more cosmetic...

The X class designated for black holes has some pecular effects on Celestia....It garbles the radius and magnitude variables and appears to fill 1000 ly of space with black...

The new model appearence method causes the pulsar model to appear behind the star its covers when its radius area is entered...otherwise it appears fine at a distance...Maybe turn this off for non transparent models? I am thinking this may be too difficult to do...The other option is to change stc files allowing the use of meshes in place of the default one for stars...but then might as well add in texture and atmosphere elements too...

btw the pulsar model must have a radii of 16-32 times the normal radius of the star in question as its mesured from jet stream to jet stream...atleast my model is...

Ill post more as I find them...Lemme know chris if you need more details...
