OT: ADC to close

I just received the unhappy news that NASA's Astronomical Data Center is closing. Their funding was not renewed.

I've included a link to a copy of their last newsletter on my Celestia information page. In addition to the closure announcement, it includes a history of the organization.

This is very disappointing news . . . It sounds like they'll keep the web site up for a while, but its future is ultimately uncertain. Does anyone know of a similarly comprehensive collection of astronomical catalogs?
