Celestia based game idea

I've been obsessed with the idea of using the Celestia engine as
a basis for a multiplayer game. After some rumination, here's
the kernal of my idea:
You have an ansible, a spacecraft capable of extremely high
acceleration, and one human lifetime. You are located at some
random location in the milky way galaxy (but you don't know
where)
Your goal is to rendevous and shake hands with any other member
of the game before you die of old age.
The game engine would take accurate account of relativistic
time dilation, lightspeed propogation delays for apparent positions
of stars, and the proper motions of stars around the galaxy.
I think it would be very, very hard to succeed at this game.
