Nebulae in 1.2.6
Its actually a different nebula from the ngc1999 one I made...but Ill see what I can do...Currently working on the rosetta nebula which is going to take me quite some time...
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!

Thanks Seldon. I went over there and got alot of really cool additions, and changes that enhanced my celestia version. The texture for Venus didn't show up at first, but I'm trying to trace the problem. The tracking for the Voyager Satellites was a nice surprise . Thanks again - Rog

Rog,
I'm not sure which Venes texture you mean, but if you instlled the solarsys.ssc by Grant Hutchison, his textures include both a surface and cloud map. You'll have to disable cloud rendering to see the Venus surface map.
Grant's solarsys.ssc has not been updated for v1.3. It looks like most of his corrections are already included in prerelease 2, though.

Thanks Seldon
I found the problem I got the updated solarsys.ssc file, but didn't get the venussurface or venusbump files. I need to go back over there and find out why. I'll let you know if I get it fixed.
Thanks again -Rog

Rassilon's efforts are greatly appreciated....
just cant wait to see nebulae on my mac.... javascript:emoticon('')
I wonder what would have happened if these guys used a farm of Xserves for their rendering of the Orion Nebula....? Gigaflops per processor = how many Teraflops?
