I'm wondering if it's possibel to have a bookmark thing with multiple locations of several locations in earth. It would be great to check out what the sky looks like right now from various places.
It makes a great astronomy tool....
Cheers

What is your OS? You are obviously not using Linux-KDE, since there Celestia has a very nice general bookmark facility since a long time...You also have a toolbar where the bookmarks may be placed in form of icons.

Why don'we have all the cool features ? Those features should definitely be added onto the PC Version
In Linux-KDE these features are part of the KDE toolkit. So they cost virtually no extra work. Windows is much behind, here. Write a letter to MS$ or switch OS . We simply don't have the manpower for doing the respective coding from scratch.

You can bookmark places yourself in Windows. Just center your view on the location on Earth, y to sync orbit, CTRL-G to land, CTRL-F for ALT AZ controls and bookmark it. The only downfall is that the bookmark includes time and date.
For instance, I am in the Northeastern US, Chris is in the Northwestern US, Dirk is in Southern Asia, and Fridger resides in Central Europe. You would have to set a bookmark for each location. You should stop time while you do that so when you reuse the bookmarks they are all set to the same time. However, they will all jump to a new time together if you force a specific date.
