building Celestia using eclipse IDE

I was wondering if anybody has built Celestia using the Eclipse IDE w/ the CDT Plugin. I 've tried to do it and I can't seem to get past the builing stage. As far as I know it should be able to work, but I'm probably doing it wrong.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Only builds using Xcode are currently supported on OS X. You don't have to launch the Xcode IDE, just invoke xcodebuild from the command line or a make script.
