I found this cool program that NASA has running. From their own tests, it's very accurate. I've tested Celestia vs. NASA's Solar System Simulator, and NASA's whoops Celestia's ass. Here's the link to NASA's program. Perhaps it can be used to make some rendering adjustments for Celestia.

I've seen this program many times before, if you can even call it a program, (eventually leading to my discovery of celestia) and it really isnt that good. maybe its pictures are a little better, but you can only go so far. It doesnt even let you traves to other star systems. As far as wooping "celesita's ass", I seriously doubt it.

This is nothing like celestia. It makes nice stills, even then the textures they use are using are not very hi-res, (try a narrow fov view of mars or earth)
You would expect to see the highest res textures that they have.

From their own tests, it's very accurate.

From my own tests I'm a sexy man.
