Copy this file:

into Celestia's extras directory. Restart Celestia and you'll be able to see 1950 DA.

However . . .
I only have Keplerian elements for the orbit of 1950 DA. This is not a good enough approximation to calculate the position of the object with any accuracy over 800 years in the future (16 March 2880 to be exact), so you won't be able to the impact/close encounter.
