Hi Pirate, will you share this model, please?
Thank you.
Goofy :D
Sure, but i guess, how? Its a 3ds mesh with skins, I have the entire MOVIE inside to the falcon, Just unbuild it, and take what ya want, If ya want it, email me at luvyandluiz@gmail.com and i'll shoot ya a copy.
Humm, I'm absolutely incompetent for 3d modelling, so I think I'll wait for your model's release.
Thank you.

Goofy, I will cut the canopy out for ya, all you will have to do is view it in celestia or animator, lol, I know I am also an amatuer in 3d modeling, I have learned quite well how to kit bash, so if ya want a copy shoot me an email, I will also include my yt1300 modified called the MYNOCK. Lol...

Ok, Goofy, well after much to do, I have added this file to my 4share, in it there are the textures, and the files, Cockpit.cmod, and Mynock.cmod, they are compiled and ready to use in Celestia, just make the SSC files for em, and your off... or view em using anim8tor..

Hi thepiratecaptain, just downloaded and going to try it.
BTW, the image of your Mynock looks very impressive, cannot wait to see it in Celestia. 8O
You've been very kind, appreciated.

Hello thepiratecaptain.
Actually I'm not using the LUA EDu Tools, so I tried it in Celestia 161, and the image shows what I can see, after writing a small ssc file to show the Mynoch.
My problem is that I don't know how should be written the cockpit ssc file.
Can you plase show it here?
Moreover I see nothing that is shown in your image, e.g. neither the landing pads nor the lights. :(
That was a modified image, or the reason is because I don't use LUA Edu Tools?
Thanks a lot.
Bye

Modified image, working on actual lights have seen em on the star trek ships, dismantling them is hard, lol, as for the cockpit, I believe I sent the cockpit.CMOd, just use the mynocks ssc file but for image file use cockpits name. As for the landing gear, I have a separate model with gear down, ramps open, figured ya might wanna toy with the flight one,

Oh and the cockpit is an actual model, use nav keys to get closer to it then into it, approach from the back.

OK Captain, I added a small ssc file for the cockpit, and this is the result.
It looks very nice but, alas, its surrounded by empty space, no Mynock there!
Obviously the problem is there because I have no idea on how to match the two models in the same space, because I have no experience on it.
Could you please add here the cockpit ssc file, please?
Thanks a lot.

Cockpit looks nice, but just a suggestion. The seats block part of the view. Can you move your viewpoint forward, so you see the controls and windows but no seats?

Also, the final effort can be added to Lua Edu Tools as a cockpit overlay, provided the image file is PNG with transparent windows.

Here is the YT1300 Cockpit to replace the Lua tools cockpit, Simply Rename it Cockpit and place it in your Cockpit files.

Hi,
I have created the cockpits images based on the next Spacecrafts:

  • the Atlantis Shuttle cockpit:
    Image
  • the fictional Spacecraft cockpit:

Download.

Required: Installed the Lua Edu Tools by Vincent.

Enjoy!

Hi Alexell,

welcome here :)

I like your dashboards for Celestia.

But, please, if you include my Apollo-cockpits within your download package (as seen on your celestia.ru-homepage)
be so kind and give me credits for my work. http://shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=16033

Thank you and Best regards

I badly know English, but I hope you will understand me. I include your Apollo-cockpits in my download package. But I didn't violate copyright because in readme I specified that took them from a site celestiamotherlode.net. What should I make for you?

You're not alone...

It would be polite if You could add my name (just MiR) regarding my files (cockpit_apollo11.png, cockpit_lunalander, ...) within the description of the addon.

Thanks

Michael

EDIT: Let me add: A big compliment for your website. Looks good. :)
