Looks very nice, John. I'll test that model today.

You are getting stronger and stronger, on models and textures. Don't stop !

Tested. Now, that's a nice piece of rock !

Really a great "generic" model with character.

It will find a place somewhere in M31 again :cyclop:

The old asteroids I have done several years ago are now totally outdated ! They are so dull and unrealistic compared with your model, it's even getting a "problem" to me. I'll have to change most (if not all) of my old models.

the main problem is getting a good looking cmod that is not 100+ meg

i have been trying to keep them to under 12 meg and use a normalmap

but do to the HUGE number of asteroids even at 24 meg for the mesh and textures that i still a LOT of space
then again i have 5 Terabits of storage on the desktop

cmod files of 12 MB is reasonable, in my opinion.

I suggest that you do a few more models like the previous one, with variations in shape, details, and textures.
