Virus Warning! (today 25-02-06)

Hi,

I'm using WindowsXP home SP2,
Antivir version 7,



I downloaded the latest Windows port of Celestia 1.4.1
and haven't yet installed it,
after my virus checker updated today (I update every day!) it has just given me this warning when I went to the folder containing the Celestia download

Contains signature of SPR/Errorsafe program

I have no other virus's and Windows is a clean install, I even deleted and downloaded again in case the mirror I used had been hacked.

On my system, Symantec AntiVirus v10.0.1.1000 with signatures dated 2/24/06 doesn't detect anything in the Windows v1.4.1 final downloaded just now (8:15AM 2/25/06) from SourceForge.

It could be that your AV software is wrong, or your system is otherwise infected. I'd suggest doing a full system scan just to be sure.

p.s. I used the easynews mirror.

Thank you for your reply,

I've just updated the virus checker again and re-downloaded Celestia from a different mirror and everything ok!
So I then tried downloading from a mirror I used yesterday and no problems either,
I guess it must have been a false possitive with yesterdays VDF file,

sorry for any scare.
