Capture movie causes time speedup

Celestia 1.3.2 on Windows XP Pro SP1, 512MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB AGP, Catalyst 4.11 drivers
Apparent passage of time doubles in speed when recording a movie.
I've tried different resolutions, different FPS, different codecs to no avail.
I've searched the forums regarding this with no luck.
See the following for an example (136KB Xvid encoded AVI):
http://www.m33.org/images/speedup.avi
Notice that it says that it's in real time, however time passes at about twice that of real time. This is a real speedup, simulation wise, not just a clock bug. It also affects the passage of time when time is accelerated, so recording a movie at 100x actually comes out to 200x.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew
P.S. Celestia is one of the finest pieces of software ever.
