Hi,
I have recently installed the standard 1.3.2 version on an Acer F1 2.8GHz system with an SIS661FX display chipset.
Initial running fine, with display of Sol intro screen before pan-zooming to Earth.
In windowed mode, unfortunately Earth appears with no sea textures - instead being bright white, there are no transitional shading effects between day and night ie the entire planet is all drawn at the same lighting level (by checking a number of other planets, a similar effect is noticed, with incomplete texture drawing [one planet seemed to be vertically striped] and a 3 stage on, medium, off planetary lighting level), and planets (primarily Earth) turning green when planet names are selected.
Mars and Jupiter did offer a glimmer of hope, with nicely drawn textures, but had a habit of repeatedly "blinking" ie disappearing then reappearing during rotation, or as with Earth, turning green (when planet names option is selected).
Also, when choosing a screenmode, it just goes to an all-white screen, but can be recovered from as the menu appears and is operational from top of the screen.
Updated the drivers to the latest 3.6.3 version, but no change.
Other than that it seems to run well, silky smooth in fact (in comparison to a number of other systems).
Any suggestions as to what I can do to get it displaying properly, even if it means the loss of a bit of eye candy, or some speed? I have seen it running on another system (with reduced graphics performance) and would like to see it running on this.
Thanks.

Non e-mouse.
There are several things you can try. One is to disable vertex shading. Another is to try running with hardware acceleration reduced or disabled entirely.
