While tinkering further with changing the sun for other types of star, I noticed that when I changed it to a white dwarf (type DA1 AbsMag 25) the temperatures of planets in distant orbits (eg Pluto) dropped to 0 K. They'll certainly be cold, but isn't there a minimum temperature that you can drop to in the universe (can a surface temperature be colder than the microwave background?).
Is it worth putting a cap of about 3 K on the lowest a temperature can get? Or can it really get lower than that?

Microwave Background temperature compensation obviously hasn't been put into Celestia yet. I think it would be interesting if somebody changed the Sun's temperature and also changed the textures of the planets to what they would look like at such temperatures.
