I've just discovered Celestia in the last few weeks, and I want to say thanks to all involved in this great program. It's fantastic! I have one question about comet names. I have no problem displaying the comet name when the orbit is elliptical, but when it is hyperbolic, the name disappears. For instance, the elements below are correct for C/2002 T7 (Linear), and the name does not appear. If, however, I change the eccentricity to less than 1 and enter the corresponding Period, the name does display.

Am I missing something?

BTW, I know the texture and mesh are incorrect, but I never zoom in that close anyway.

Celestia v1.3.2pre7 also does not draw the hyperbolic orbit path .

I'm seeing the name displayed correctly, but the orbit isn't displayed correctly. Hyperbolic orbits are aperiodic, and Celestia needs to do a better job of choosing which segment of the orbit to render.

I too am experiencing the same problem in Celestia 1.3.1 not displaying the orbit for this comet whereas it does for the other comets on my system. I questioned if whether the problem was because the orbit is non-eriodic and hyperbolic instead of elliptical.
