Scrambled picture capture - possible bug ?

I've just tried capturing a picture of Earth from about 25500km, and ended up with a srambled jpg result.

My Celestia settings were;
version 1.3.2pre1, 32k dds VT texture, specmap 32k dds VT, normal 8k dds VT, nightexture off, clouds off, galaxies off, stars as points mag ~8, time set at current realtime.

My graphics card/ viewing settings were;
Antialiasing 4x, anisotropic filtering 4x, image settings on 'high perfomance', and fullscreen 1280x1024x32.

However, on taking an image with a windowed view which has an image size of 1272x978, it came out fine.
Also when I changed my texture to Dons 16kDDS, with level3 VT (8k) dds specmap, 8k dds normalmap, I was able to capture a good image in fullscreen and in windowed.

Could this be a bug, or a graphics card problem, or maybe a problem with the textures ?

Out of curiosity, did you try it more than once?

Yep, it happened more than once, so I thought I'd report the problem. Now I've got some better information.

The image appears scrambled for me when I take a picture in fullscreen and drop the window menu down to the bottom of the screen (or move it anywhere out of it's original position), after giving it a filename, then pressing enter to save it.

This is a practice I do quite often, because of the brighter area or 'ghost image' of the dropdown menu screen being left on some pictures I've taken (using many previous versions of Celestia) when the menu is in its normal position in the top left of the screen.

It appears the planet texture doesn't matter, as I've now had the same problem with Jupiter and Io.

On closer inspection of a picture taken with a windowed view, I'm getting some slight distortion at the bottom of the image when I move the menu to the bottom of the screen.

The image appears to be OK when I don't move the menu screen.

Thank you for the extra info TERRIER.

Does anyone else notice this, or other screen capture problems, under any other conditions (hardware, add-ons, etc.)?
