Earth texture disappears
Earth texture disappears
I am using the 8k dds earth texture and I am having a problem with it disappearing when I zoom out. Seems to occur at around 540,000 km away. If I have clouds or nightsides turned on I can still see thos but no earth tex. This is with preview 4

I bet you did not put medres (and lores) earth.dds textures into the respective folders...If the earth is moving further away, as far as I remember, the code switches from hires to medres. If your 8k earth.dds texture resides in the hires folder then I would understand your effect if no earth.dds file is found in the /medres/ folder.
