Currently (1.3.1 p11) when a .cel or .celx script is not located in the main "..\celestia" directory / folder, object textures are not loaded when the script is running, and other script problems may occur. Having 20, 50 or even 100 script files in the main Celestia folder can get very messy.
Suggestion I posted to the Developer forum is below ...

Request For Enhancement:
Add a "script" directory/folder under "...\celestia\" that can contain any Celestia .cel or .celx script. Allowing sub-directories in this directory would also help a great deal.
By "add" I mean into the Celestia folder-searching code. Right now, if a script does not reside in the "...\celestia" folder, object textures are not loaded and other problems.

Howdy Christophe,
I agree, which is why I suggested that "fix" / addition. It would seem that Celestia thinks the base directory is the one from which the script is run, which of course in not right.
So, while someone is fixing it, my suggestion is to hard-code (if necessary) a "scripts" directory just like the existing hard-coded "extras" directory stuff, which allows multiple sub-directories also.
