Real time doesn't actually set you to real time! It sets you to the nearest second... It's only a small thing I know, but if real time would set you to within 1/100th of a second or something, that would fix this problem instantly! I have read before that cel:// urls can set ou to within like 1/1000th of a second or so, so it can't be too hard to do this with "set to real time" too...?
For anyone interested in testing out this bug themselves:
1. Go to the ISS (or any object in a low earth/mars etc orbit)
2. Hold down Shift + 1 (results in ! ) which means you are constantly setting yourself to real time.
3. The earth will not move smoothly below, but *jump* one a second.
I got the above happening in the windows version of 1.3.1pre9.
