Travelling through planets?

I've noticed that when travelling to an object that is directly on the opposite side of the one I'm viewing, Celestia will pass "through" the object in the travel path. For example if I'm viewing Jupiter and go to Io, if Io is directly behind Jupiter in that view, Celestia will pass straight through Jupiter to Io. This makes for a weird effect when capturing a movie of a script that's travelling through the solar system.

Can Celestia detect and be made to go around an object's mass to another object directly on the other side? Does it already have this capability and I'm missing something?

Thanks!

Opps, forgot to post my system specs again  :

Gateway 1700cx
1.7GHz P4
80 GB Hard Drive (66 GB available)
512 MB RAM
ATI Radoen VE 7000 Video Card, 64 MB RAM
WIN ME
Celestia 1.3.0

FWIW, the Radeon 7000 supports .dds files but not specular maps.
